pharma experience

  • Currently working on the Pfizer team at CoLab, focusing on the US and Global indications for the pneumonia vaccine. Within this piece of business, I have written across audiences, including adult, pediatric, and HCP. In a year, my team and I have won the Pfizer business in a major pitch, filmed 0:60 TV spot, and tons of social (TikTok especially). I am comfortable writing TV and social scripts, preparing and delivering presentations, as well as claim annotation and fact checking processes.

  • During my time at Intouch, though I worked on many different brands outside my day-to-day billable work, my primary focus was with the Venclexta team. Venclexta is a treatment for many different types of cancer, including CLL and AML. As a copywriter, I mostly wrote HCP-facing materials. This included branded and unbranded websites, exeriential tactics for conferences, CRM emails, many, many banner ads, among whatever else. An interesting, albeit challenging, aspect of this brand was learning the dynamics as the AOR for a co-promote drug. I was often finding creative solutions that answered the needs of the AbbVie client just as well as the needs of the Genentech client.

  • One of my more rewarding professional experiences was also a memorable dissapointment. I spent a year creating impactful work that we, as creatives, were genuinely eager to share with the world. Unfortunately, in the eleventh hour the drug did not get approval. It happens but doesn’ help the heartbreak.

  • If you come from Pharma advertising, you’ve probably at least heard of ASCO. The annual oncology conference takes place in Chicago and so not only have I had the pleasure of working around the clock on the branded (and unbranded) booths, I’ve also attended multiple times (pre-pandemic). One year, my team and I created a VR experience that invited attendees to wear a headset and experience the brand’s data via simulated rollercoaster. When the pandemic demanded creative solutions that were completely remote, my team and I created an online AR experience. I’m proud of that, even if AI could make the same thing today in a quarter of the time. Ours had heart.
